Chocolate Banana Ice Cream
With warm weather just around the corner, you’re probably already anticipating cold, creamy ice cream on a hot summer day. I don’t know about you, but ice cream is one of my all-time favorite treats. In fact, I could eat it all year round, and I’ve been known to eat it right in the dead of winter. While indulging in a nice big bowl of ice cream certainly isn’t a bad thing, it’s probably not something you want to make a habit of every night. But what if I told you there’s ice cream you could eat every night that’s healthy?! There is! It’s called Chocolate Banana Ice Cream. This ice cream is made from whole, natural ingredients that actually provide your body with nutrients. It is super simple to make and only takes about five minutes. Try it out! This just may become your new favorite summer treat!
Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

Yield: 2 servings
Calories Per Serving: 197 (155 without almonds)

Ingredients:
- 2 medium frozen bananas
- 2 TBSP cocoa powder
- 1 TBSP raw honey
- 2 TBSP natural almonds chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Take 2 frozen bananas and blend them up in a food processor. Next, add the honey, cocoa powder, and almonds and blend until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Transfer the ice cream to your bowl and enjoy! (If you prefer a harder ice cream, just place the ice cream in a freezer safe bowl and freeze for 1-2 hours or overnight until the ice cream has hardened.)
